I am always looking for ways to run my fantasy football league up here in Canada. It’s been quite easy the past few years but I am playing with a much of Canadians that don’t understand that in real football there’s 4 downs. I am no stranger to reddit and more than a few times I have found gold on the r/fantasyfootball sub reddit. This is some of that gold. I hope the boys in my league don’t read the blog. I was given permission from soul008 to post his rankings.

2020 Fantasy football steals for this year (.5 ppr scoring)

*ADPs are based off yahoo’s rankings as I’ve found them to be most accurate currently. ADP is listed above for the corresponding player. ADP= (Round.Pick)

WR:

ADP: 3.1

Kenny Golladay. It’s not often a guy is considered a steal when he goes in the third round but golladay has that potential. Usually golladay will go right at the top of the third. Golladay passes the eye test and was able to produce 1200 yards and 10 tds with only half a season of Matt stafford. His qbs for the other 8 games were David blough and Jeff driskel. My bold prediction is Golladay finishes as a top 5 wr in .5 ppr this year.

ADP: 5.6

Ty Hilton. Goes in the 5th-6th. Ea͏s͏y pick here. TY is one of the most underrated wrs in the game. His health is his only concern now that he has a capable qb.

ADP: 7.1

DJ Chark. Goes around where ty goes, usually a bit later. Even for ppl who question chark’s talent, he’s got clear chemistry built with the starting qb. Minshew trusts him on jump balls which is huge for fantasy. His competition for targets is also very weak. Jags should be down in plenty of games this season which creates good game flow for the passing game.

ADP: 11.6

Brandin Cooks. He’s the wr1 for Deshaun Watson. And his adp is 100+. He usually goes in the 11th round or later. Even with concussion concerns, he’s way too much of a value not to target in all drafts. I could easily see him go for 1k+ and 6-8 tds.

ADP: 11.4

Emmanuel Sanders. Landed in the best fantasy situation possible. He lines up opposite one of the best in the game. Sanders will be seeing a lot of favorable matchups and is on a high powered scoring offense with one of the best qbs. Sanders goes very late, around where cooks goes. He’s a great bench piece. Could easily see him being a great flex play every week.

ADP: 15.5

Jalen Reagor. I think reagor could have a similar season to metcalf’s rookie year. Reagor is a perfect fit with wentz who loves to go deep. His competition for targets are an old, injury prone desean Jackson, washed alshon Jeffrey, and injury prone marquise Goodwin. Ofc he’ll have to deal with ertz and goedert as well but the eagles desperately needed a playmaker at wr and got one. He goes at the very end of drafts right now.

ADP: 10.1

Darius Slayton. Slayton came on strong to end the year and has a good rapport with Daniel jones. Sterling Shepard and golden tate have redundant skill sets so I could see Slayton being the one with the highest ceiling for fantasy.

RB:

ADP: 8.9

Derrius Guice. Guice is worth a shot at his adp. He’s got the talent so I take him but never take him as a starter or flex, only for bench. He’s not reliable at all but if he somehow stays healthy he’ll be a steal.

ADP: 4.8

Chris Carson. Once again being undervalued. You are getting a workhorse rb on a run heavy team in the 4th round. Some people worry about the fumbles and penny lurking. Personally I don’t worry about any of those things. Carson’s main worry to me is injury but you can’t draft scared of injuries.

ADP: 5.8

Raheem Mostert. Yep I’m a Mostert fan this year. I know he’s your classic jag who took over at the end of last year and will bust. But I don’t think so. Mostert is perfect for what shanahan does. He is the best rb by far on that niners team for the scheme. Tevin coleman is a little injury prone and just not as good. McKinnon was a good fit for the scheme but he’s coming off two major injuries. I could see him having a similar year as Mark Ingram did last year. 10-15 carries a game but very efficient and a good amount of tds. Well worth a 5th round pick.

ADP: 13.8

JK Dobbins. A crowded backfield has killed dobbins adp. His adp is 128 currently which has him going in the third to last round. The thing is, dobbins is the best rb in that crowded backfield. Take it from a ravens fan, I love Ingram but dobbins can do the same things except he has breakaway speed. Go watch his highlights vs Clemson. I expect dobbins to become 1a by the end of the season. With the amount the ravens run, I can see both Ingram and dobbins being rb2s. It’s just Ingram is going in the 5th-6th round while dobbins goes in the 12th-13th.

ADP: 4.8

Jonathan Taylor. My other rookie rb on this list. Taylor is the next great rb coming out of Wisconsin. He’s gotten some saquon Barkley comps for his running style. This has a lot to due with his 4.4 speed. He has breakaway speed to go along with elite vision. He’s not as good at breaking tackles. So no he won’t be rookie saquon but consider that he is behind one of the best olines in the game and a team that wants to run the ball a lot. Sure marlon mack is there but mack has some trouble staying on the field and is not that great of a rb. I don’t foresee mack fully going away but I do expect Taylor to end up taking over this job and seeing at least 12-15 carries a game.

TE:

ADP: 9.1

Tyler Higbee. Hard to ignore how he ended the season. He was the highest scoring te the last 4 weeks of the season. He was extended this offseason too so the rams have a plan for him. I like him with his adp in the 8th-9th. Rams won’t have a good run game again and will need to pass. Goff likes safety valves.

ADP: 12.6

Hayden Hurst. Worth a shot with dirk koetter. They traded a 2nd round pick for him. He goes very late in drafts, almost undrafted. It’s a potential te1 with one of your last picks.

ADP: 9.7

Evan Engram. When he’s on the field he produces. His adp tanked due to his injury. He was on pace to be a te1. He goes in the 8th-9th round.

QB:

ADP: 10.5

Matt Stafford. On pace for 5k yards and 40 tds before the injury. The lions brought back everyone from last year on offense and added Deandre swift. His adp has him going in the 10th round and later. Perfect for folks who don’t value taking qbs til late.

ADP: 8.7

Drew Brees. Usually goes in the 8th-9th round. Brees was dropping 20 a game when he came back from injury like it was nothing. He got a new weapon in sanders to go along with MT, cook, and kamara. Another guy to target if you like waiting on taking your qb.
