Jeff and I grew up in the same general area of the Chicagoland southwest side, frequenting many of the same rinks and lockerroom. It’s a surprise that our paths never crossed at rat hockey (that we know of). It was fun talking to Jeff to hear his non-traditional path into the beer leagues having played most of his tough on the pavement before transitioning to ice.
